I failed to cross compile the cdylib from linux to macos and linux musl. It's thankful if someone is interested in participating this or could give some help 😄.

Would you be able to run pre-commit run -a locally and put the result? Lmk if you need a hand configuring that. That will do all the formatting for you.

I met this when cross compile for linux musl: this rust target doesn't support cdylib crate type.

error: cannot produce cdylib for prql4j v0.1.0 (/project) as the target x86_64-unknown-linux-musl does not support these crate types

I don't know which crate type should I use, maybe dylib?
I also have no experience in compiling from linux to macos, does anyone known some tools could help do this?

My guess is that this file could move to a workflow eventually; but to the extent you've been iterating on it locally, it looks good, and we can move to a workflow later.
