  • App Name: uTools
  • Description: a productivity tool similar to albert

Well last time I created a issue #2063 for uTools icon, and I didn't know this doesn't help with its tray icon. So I'm here with a new issue.
However, I can't find an icon in /opt/uTools. So I have no idea how to fix its tray Icon.

Because on #2063 you not say about tray. We can't check all requested apps

I don't think the problem is fixed. The AUR package can't be detected, and when I looked into the package, it turned out that neither the AUR package nor the official .deb has a /opt/uTools/resources/dist/res/icon@2x.png icon file.
In fact, there is even no .png file under /opt/uTools/.

@KspLite did you run the updated hardcode-tray script? I had checked the path is correct for the AUR package.

@SmartFinn I didn't, but I copied the new .json file to /usr/share/hardcode-tray/database. This should have the same effect with updating the hardcode-tray package.

@SmartFinn After running sudo npm install -g asar I get the same output as yours. However hardcode-tray is still not working.
Then I installed the git version of hardcode-tary. Again not working.

Problem fixed. The makepkg command didn't automatically get the latest version of papirus, so I manually pulled the latest repo and everything is alright now. Thanks for commenting my issue.
