[Suggestion] Symlink telegram unread tray icons to the normal one

As per telegramdesktop/tdesktop#9056 (comment), one is not able anymore to hide the badge counter on the telegram tray icon, resulting in this:

The "unread" (blue/gray) dot looks ugly and useless once the badge counter must be there (which is ugly itself, but it seems there is no choice...). My suggestion is to remove the unread dot, symlinking telegram-attention-panel and telegram-mute-panel to telegram-panel.

It seems to me that removing the blue/gray dot will not make you happy. Also, it will break UX for users who use an older version of Telegram (me).

I suggest not to add this questionable workaround but wait for fixes from Telegram devs.

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. The comment I linked is a comment states that this is not a bug that will be fixed, but it is intentional. There is also confirmation on the Telegram group.

Yes, removing the dot will not make me happy because only the ability of removing the badge counter would (in this context :-) ), but it looks like that one I just cannot have. Removing the dot will at least make me a little bit happier than now...
