Welcome to the flight-planning-tool-for-Hybrid-UAV-system wiki! To use the tool after installation in Matlab, you are required to input the following:
- side lap and end lap%
- flying height and speed
- camera type
- LiDAR type
- configuration of either portrait or landscape
- inclination angle
Optional input
- add marginal strips
- input waypoints uncertainty
- plot the footprints
Implementation steps:
- compute the photo flight plan button: this is to apply the photogrammetric planning where the LiDAR planning setting is a byproduct.
- LiDAR point density button: this is to estimate the initial density of points assuming typical scanning conditions.
- Compute error button: this is optional to estimate the theoretical mean error in the point cloud using error propagation.
Illustration input parameters: End lap=70%, Side lap=60%, flying height 50m, Flying speed=15 m/s Camera type=Mapir, Lidar type=OS1, inclination angle =30 The shapefile of the area can be found in the shared files. The output will be Then if you wanted to check the initial Lidar point density it will be
