This is an Python Script that takes in parameters and an xml file to perform the various tasks set out by the user to create and populate a Mosaic Dataset. An application that uses MDCS can be found on the Image Management workflow Solutions
Example : How MDCS is used to automate a workflow
- Automate creation of multiple Mosaic Datasets
- Configure multiple mosaic datasets using configuration files.
- Verbose reporting and logging system built in.
- Command line usage via batch files.
- Download and unzip the .zip file.
- Create a folder called Image_Mgmt_Workflow in the root of c: drive.
- Create a project folder in Image_Mgmt_Workflows
- Copy content of zip file to the project folder.
- Notepad / XML Editor.
- Knowledge of Mosaic Datasets.
- Knowledge of Python.
