This is unorthodox I know, but this test is doing relatively little work and undermining our ability to rely on travis for much.

I'm in favor of quashing flakiness. That said, is there perhaps a companion PR in order for at least including pending tests in iron-location?

+1. Rewrote the tests and rehomed them in iron-location: PolymerElements/iron-location#37
