Section 23 of the (English) book refers three times to a cubic root. While that term is used by many, it seems that cube root is far more common and preferred. An interesting note: the code in section 17 has both a cuberoot function and a getCubicRoots function.

It appears the source for this section is components/sections/yforx/content.en-GB.md
