Changes

Add a section to the site for dashboard templates

• Figure out sidebar
• Rename parts of Templates/index.js from apps to templates
• Remove documentation from query in createPages.ts
• Add all the templates
• Ignore template components, and remove from mdxGlobalComponents.js
• Get the Loom from Luke
• Make all of the above dashboard templates
• Create an app listing for each of the dashboard templates
• Blog art for each of the dashboard templates
• Logo art for each of the dashboard templates
• Create a presentation for the hackathon
• Win the hackathon, go on a group holiday to Aruba
• Product analytics
• Website analytics
• Advertising analytics
• User research
• Landing page report
• Retention report (Andy)
• AARRR Pirate metrics (Andy)
• B2B SaaS (Ian)
• B2C SaaS (Ian)
• Health metrics (Ian)
• Adding the Templates directory to the docs nav? 🤔
• Change underscores to dashes in file structure
• Product analytics listing
• Website analytics featured image
• B2B featured image
• Shrink the images to a better size

Checklist

• Titles are in sentence case
• Feature names are in sentence case too
• Words are spelled using American English
• I have checked out our style guide
• If I moved a page, I added a redirect in vercel.json

I’m caffinated, so I’m getting organized.

Hackathon is complete and the product is fully updated - so all the templates exist and can be made public to all users very easily. We can basically merge this in whenever we want, if we want.

From there, there are some further enhancements we can make in terms of functionality - but nothing that would be quick or would block.

Blocking

• Advertising dashboard icon and picture not showing up in Preview
• Not sure the 'how to use these templates section is quite working:
  • Would it be better to just link straight to the 'dashboards' tab? If you don't have an account, you'll just be prompted to create one. If you do have an account, the sign up instruction doesn't make sense.
  • This would be much nicer with a little screenshot

Non blocking

• The 'Try it free' CTA section at the bottom doesn't make sense on the main templates page or any of the individual template pages to me - can we remove it? (CTA overload)
• Should add to the Dashboards page in the Docs?
• We should have a tutorial somewhere that points to these as well, as it's not obvious to me to go to this page to find the templates?
  • I couldn't find where these had been added to the Docs nav in preview btw but that's probably just me!

I added links in some tutorials and blogs.

We weren't sure what sidebar to use. Apps doesn't have one and it doesn't obviously fit in with another side bar.
