Expected behavior

I expected mobs to not randomly disappear.

Observed/Actual behavior

Mobs such as zombie villagers and piglin despawn in about a minute after spawning despite players actively engaging with them.

Steps/models to reproduce

I am unaware of how to reproduce this, as it seems to happen randomly.

Purpur version

Build #1544 (I updated before it was suggested to make a bug report, was 3 versions out of date.)

Agreements

  • I am running the latest version of Purpur available from https://purpurmc.org/downloads.
  • I have searched for and ensured there isn't already an open issue regarding this.
  • My version of Minecraft is supported by Purpur.
