ACX-tweaks

A browser extension that provides various small improvements to the Astral Codex Ten blog on Substack.

Get it for Firefox or Chrome.

Key Features

  • User configurable options
    • Ability to make the blog look more like Slate Star Codex
    • Highlight new comments
    • Re-add comment likes
    • Fix the header above the post
    • Show the exact time and date a comment was posted
    • Hide posts by certain users
    • Keyboard shortcuts for comment navigation
    • Apply basic Markdown styling to comments
  • Scroll to the parent comment when collapsing a thread

How to get

Firefox extension.

Chrome extension. Works for anything that can use extensions from the Chrome Web Store, including Opera and Brave.

Other platforms

If you're using Safari, you can get some of the pure CSS fixes here. See the page for how to load them.

Under releases, you can get the source from the chrome_src.zip file under the latest release. You may be able to do something with this.
