Installation

Installation of Quickplay is relatively simple. To install Quickplay, you first must have Minecraft Forge installed. Before continuing, please follow the Forge installation guide if you do not already have Forge installed.

After Minecraft Forge is installed, open your .minecraft folder and then navigate to the mods folder. If one does not exist, create one and then enter it. Keep this window open as you will need it later.

Now you need to download Quickplay. Quickplay currently supports Minecraft 1.8.8 through 1.12.2. Click the appropriate link below to download the proper version:

Minecraft 1.8.8 through 1.8.9: https://bugg.co/quickplay/update/1.8.9-latest/
Minecraft 1.9 through 1.11.2: https://bugg.co/quickplay/update/1.9-latest/
Minecraft 1.12 through 1.12.2: https://bugg.co/quickplay/update/1.12-latest/

This will download a .jar file. Depending on your browser and security settings, you might get a warning telling you the file you're downloading is untrustworthy. This is normal as the file is a .jar file that your browser does not recognize. You can accept the file.

In a new file explorer window, navigate to where the file was downloaded to, such as your downloads folder. Now drag and drop the .jar file into the mods folder we had opened earlier.

You're done! Quickplay is installed. If you boot up your game, you should be able to use the mod as normal.

Premium Installation

If you have a Quickplay Premium subscription, installation of the Quickplay Premium .jar is mostly the same as normal Quickplay. Instead of the downloads provided above, these are the links to the latest Premium downloads:

Minecraft 1.8.8 through 1.8.9: https://bugg.co/quickplay/update/1.8.9-premium-latest/
Minecraft 1.9 through 1.11.2: https://bugg.co/quickplay/update/1.9-premium-latest/
Minecraft 1.12 through 1.12.2: https://bugg.co/quickplay/update/1.12-premium-latest/

NOTE: If you install Quickplay Premium, you must have both the Quickplay and Quickplay Premium .jars installed. They work together. Quickplay Premium does not replace Quickplay.

Installer

An automatic Quickplay installer is planned, but not yet available. Stay tuned.
