Hi, David,Is it possible to place progressbar in the navigation baras in Safari. It looks very interesting and thrilling as the progress bar just zooms as the web renders fast.

Hi,
personally, I don't like it in other browsers (Rekonq / Epiphany / Safari).
But maybe I can add it as optional feature in future.

Will it be possible to have this as a plugin or extension?

I don't like it the way rekonq does it, too. It's done better in status 4 evar-extension for firefox: you can chose to fill the complete background or just show a small bar in the top or bottom area of the URL bar.
I chose "bottom" and it does not disturb as much as "fill" does.

I could try to implement this. I also would offer options like status4evar: position and color (QPalette::Highlight, lighter/darker, custom).

I don't think that showing it inside address bar would be great idea. There are multiple themes and it will be very hard to make it look good with each of them.
Have you seen how it is implemented in recent version of epiphany (gnome web browser)?
It is a thin line at top of web page (under tab bar) that indicates progress. I'd prefer this.

And at last, I'd like to see it as a plugin.
