This a pre-release to support the 3R Project.

This release:

  1. Deprecates the concepts in the RDA value vocabulary for Gender, which is no longer in use. The concepts were retained for inclusion in the RDA Toolkit glossary until a decision was made to incorporate the vocabulary in a new area of the Toolkit.

  2. Adds the following elements:

Manifestation: reference source of (rdam:P30457) [an inverse of Nomen: reference source (rdan:P80139)]

Timespan: beginning of (rdat:P70061) [an inverse of Timespan: beginning (rdat:P70039)]
Timespan: ending of (rdat:P70062) [an inverse of Timespan: ending (rdat:P70040)]

  1. Adds new properties to the unconstrained element set to improve correspondence with and mappings from properties in the constrained element sets

  2. Adds a new map from RDA classes and properties to the IFLA Library Reference Model namespace.

  3. Makes minor amendments to property labels, definitions, scope notes, and cross-references to fix typos, improve clarity, and reflect changes to the guidance and instructions in beta RDA Toolkit.
