Summary of changes

This patch converts some additional graph tests to pytest, I'm doing
this in preparation for adding more tests to test_diff.py.

NOTE to reviewers: Ignore white-spaces as one of the files were committed with windows line endings, for diff with whitespaces ignored go here.

This patch converts some additional graph tests to pytest, I'm doing
this in preperation for adding more tests to `test_diff.py`.
