Dante's Inferno [BLUS30405] Graphics issues in cutscenes featuring Lucifer #7308

I think this just requires WCB to be enabled. FCB just breaks rendering if WCB (and sometimes WDB) setting is not enabled. |
No, WCB crash doesn't happen anymore. It was fixed with #7353 as i mentioned. |
I can confirm that as well. WCB or other options doesn't fix the cutscene issues. |

IIRC there's a couple of more cutscenes further in the game that have the issue. |

Well, the kd-11 build doesn't fix the cutscenes with beatrice and Lucifer and Virgil still has the missing blue highlight. |

Needs a retest. The glow on lucifer was fixed at like the end of 2022, not sure about this issue tho. |

Game has problems with rendering Lucifer, whenever he shows up everyting goes to black.
NVIDIA GTX 1070
Looks like this with no additional settings:

After testing each and every setting individually and every possible combination i found that only Force CPU blit and Read Color Buffers can somewhat fix this but not quite.
Force CPU blit only:

Copmbination of both Force CPU blit and Read Color Buffers doesn't give you anything different than just FCB:

Also worth mentionning that there should be another character on the screen which doesn't show up at all for me but it does show up for people testing on Linux with AMD hardware
Also Write Color Buffers setting introduces crashes with differen errors (such as Verification failed (0000000000000000) or Access violation - no RTTI data!) in certain moments(first boss encounter for ex.) and crashes during cutscenes which are random but related to WCB turned on. When WCB is turned off crashes won't occur.
Both OpenGL and Vulkan are affected by this.Fixed with #7353

Easily reproducable by turning on WCB, starting game and getting to first boss fight.
