I'll consider it for v2.x once this data.preview ext. takes off.

It's very possible & doable! Who is paying for it? :) ...

.@SheetJSDev this might be possible soon with the grid plugin updates finos devs are working on:

@texodus ping me when it's ready for prime time. Many devs have asked me for this feature. Happy to see you jumping on it in your lib.

probably more cleanup needed in data view config loading/parsing/saving after latest viewer update. see #107 and others later.
