Description:

When users have a long user name then the status indicator in the Direct Messages lists are not getting rendered correctly.

screen shot 2018-03-15 at 11 06 49

Especially if the avatars are visible the space for the user name gets even smaller so for most of our users the status indicator is not visible at all.

Server Setup Information:

  • Version of Rocket.Chat Server: 0.62.2
  • Operating System: Official Rocket.Chat Docker container
  • Deployment Method(snap/docker/tar/etc): Docker

Fixed it now locally by overwriting the CSS style for the status indicator (set min-width: 6px) but an official fix would be appreciated.
