Suggestions/feedback from recent meeting with @KeywanHP, Dan Smith (RRes) and @AjitPS:

  • Potential KnetMiner website re-design: The links to the KnetMiner instances, the corporate host and the funders’ information is not visible without scrolling down on standard VDU settings (is ‘below the fold’). Could potentially move this information above the static carousel images and usage videos

  • Consistent top banner in all KnetMiner instances: Add user guide/help link in all instance pages’ Headers

  • Search results summary is shown in white text on instances that have an image background. Change font size/color and location to make it more obvious.

  • The buttons for the 4 tabs have white text and a black background, making them less prominent. Also, these should be attached to the tab panel below without the space in between, to make it clearer for new users.

  • more obvious “Please wait…” spinners
