Named after John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, the sandwich as a food item is a staple of the modern diet. While definitions of a sandwich are notoriously contentious and difficult to pin down, this repository serves as a collection of recipes that are generally aggreed upon to be sandwiches.
