Downloading old versions

2017-02-14: Finally the new QC-interface ships with the latest release. This means the old QC is considered not longer supported and should not be used. The new QC is able to port forward many older versions of projects with QC intact too so please join us in using the current version.

2016-06-20: We are soon ready to show an early-alpha version of the new QC-interface that will ship with the current version of Scan-o-Matic, so consider waiting if it is not time critical to get the QC done. Of course, if you run on linux there's no problem installing the deprecated version of QC, it has the basic features of the new one.

Older versions are extremely hard to get working on OS/X and should therefor only be considered compatible with Linux

Version of Scan-o-Matic that handles Quality Control

Installing

The older versions of Scan-o-matic are not installed as python packages, but rather work as stand-alone. Download the version you need and unpack it in a suitable locations. Within each version, there's an install instruction. As neither is a final realease version of Scan-o-matic, the instructions may not be complete and more dependencies may need installing than is explicitly stated in the INSTALL file.

Dependencies

On Ubuntu 14.04, the following will install the required packages for using the QC-version:

sudo apt-get install python-numpy python-matplotlib python-scipy python-skimage python-gobject python-cairo python-gtk2 python-imaging nmap python-nmap python-odf python-psutil python-pandas python-pip

sudo pip install sh

Starting the interface

You launch the QC-interface with scan-o-matic_deprecated_qc.
