- Why does the installer require admin priviledges?
- The tool crashes when trying to open load dialog (or similar ones).
This is caused by UAC (user access control), only processes with admin priviledges are allowed to add new content to C:\Program Files. During setup, access rights for your installation folder are adjusted to allow for non-admin processes to run the tool and to add new files (e.g. logs or exports).
This might be due to a language id being picked on first startup which has yet no translation available. This issue was addressed already and will be fixed with next version. To prevent such a crash from happening until this new version has been rolled out, open the options dialog and change your current language to either English or Deutsch.
