=========================================================

        IMPORTANT : THIS REPO IS DEPRECATED

    New work will be done here:

    https://github.com/intouch/py-lispnetworking

    I made the wrong choice in regards to the packet
    decoding and encoding library. Together with the
    InTouch team we'll start from scratch

=========================================================

a Python module for parsing and generating LISP packets, and generating & receiving map requests/mapreplies.

This code is based on the following drafts:

	- http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-lisp-09

And hopefully will soon suppport:

	- https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-farinacci-lisp-lcaf/

More information about LISP can be found on http://www.lisp4.net/

The code is in very poor state:
	- only works for IPv4
	- fails if an EID has v6 rlocs
	- fails if there is a negative mapcache-entry
	- fails if there are multiple rlocs

lig.py depends on the following
	- py-IPy
	- construct
	- optparse, sys, pprint, random, socket, struct
	- python2.5

example:

[iiivx@masteen SnijdersIT-py-lispnetworking-04fc180]$ PYTHONPATH=. lispnetworking/lig.py -m 85.184.2.42 153.16.1.0
