The "direct" API is for micro scripts, like "LandscapeMgr.setLandscapeTransparency(0.4)". You should put this loop into an .ssc script and call that script. |

Hi guys,
I'm getting an error when running the script shown below through the RemoteControl interface (/api/scripts/direct). The script executes in the script console.
System.Net.WebException: 'The remote server returned an error: (413) entity too large.'
Does the RemoteControl plugin have a limit on the size of a request? If so, is there a
configuration entry I can change to increase the limit?
I use AstroPlanner to organise my EAA observing sessions and it has a large number of catalogues available, include the HyperLeda (5.3+ million objects). Using AstroPlanner's scripting environment and a small .net app I request a search around the object I'm observing and generate the script below that plots the HyperLeda objects in Stellarium. The script below is 0.5 degree radius search around NGC6166. It is a very impressive sight in Stellarium with HIPS on, and all the small fuzzy galaxies have names :-)
I would have liked to use the CustomObjectMgr, but it is slow at adding objects on my system, 1 per second almost. The MarkerMgr/LabelMgr combination is very quick but less functional (object selection).
Many thanks for your help.
Pete
