Magical Items

Magical items are items that contain or enhance your magic. Although some of them are meant to be found, the majority of them are created via the arcane workbench

Abomination Drops

As the title suggests, these are items that drop from abominable monsters and cannot be crafted by any means

XP Storage Ring

This is a device that operates similar to an ender chest, but with experience. When worn, your experience is stored in a dimensional storage which can then be retrieved by sneaking and right-clicking the ring in your hand

Poison Cleansing Amulet

This is a device that removes any and every trace of poison from its wearer

Pyromancer Ring

This is a device that allows the user to access fire magic even if it is not their affinity. It also gives the user the "Fire Resistance" effect

Arcane Workbench

It is a block that is responsible for making magical items. To successfully convert an item into a magical one, a mage must have tridox, the ingredients for the conversion, and the item to be converted. The item to be converted should be placed in the center slot, the ingredients can be placed in the top, bottom, or right slots, and the tridox required for the conversion is placed in the left slot

Research Scroll

A product of genius, written in this scroll is a spell that calls upon the knowledge of the world to be inscribed in it. With a 25% chance of success (the remaining 75 include you being blown up), you can dodge the hurdle of having to hunt the monsters of the night.
The item to be converted is a scroll, anyone will do but I'll advise against using one with a spell in it unless you want to overwrite the spell. The ingredients are 10 ink sacks and one feather and the amount of tridox needed is 10

Rings

A ring, especially a magical one is a magical item that gives the player various effects which include giving the player buffs or even augmenting affinities. A ring is meant to be put in the first slot of a player's inventory for it to take effect.

Affinity Rings

These rings give mages access to certain elemental magic and also provide buffs based on the element.

Aeromancer Ring

Allows the mage to use wind-based magic and lets the mage fall like a leaf
The item to be converted is a golden ring. The ingredients are 10 phantom membranes and 10 nether warts and the amount of tridox needed is 16

Electromancer Ring

Allows the mage to use lightning-based magic and gives the mage a resistance to electricity

Necronomicon

An advanced grimoire, it has 20 pages and is a mage's best friend. These books have been magically modified to have an owner. Naturally, you can't ever lose these books as whenever you drop them into the world, they almost immediately return to their owner, and on the off chance anyone else comes into possession of this book, it will place a curse on the thief. There are two important things to note,

  1. When you die, the book returns to you on respawn if it is still intact and
  2. If left on the ground for two minutes and a half, it will forget its owner and wipe its index so that its owner's secrets will never be left into enemy hands.
    Crafting:
The item to be converted is a grimoire. The ingredients are 5 diamonds, 10 paper, and 1 soul gem and the amount of tridox needed is 64

Mana Pills

If you ever find yourself in a pinch, you can use these pills to quickly restore a small amount of your mana, around 50 points if I'm correct. As for the crafting recipe, you'll simply need one tridox to craft 5 pills. P.S. these pills have various side effects. They don't show up all the time, but I haven't used them to find out what they are, so your pretty much on your own when using these

Magic Orb

This is a device designed to start your journey to mage-hood. When used, it allows its user to select their affinity and the color of their mana. This function can only be used when said mage does not have any affinity for magic whatsoever. It also shows you the other types of elemental magic a mage uses. When held, two sections of this magical tool will begin to emit a certain color. Red for Fire Based Magic, Light Blue for Water-Based Magic, Blue for Lightning Based Magic, Green for Earth-Based Magic, and Light Gray For Wind Based Magic

Soul Gems

This is a gem that traps souls on their way to the afterlife. To obtain one, you'll have to kill a living mob with a weapon enchanted with "Soul Sealing" if you have an empty soul gem in your inventory. Undead rarely drop empty soul gems, but if you have the enchantment "Container Extraction" they will always drop

Purple Magic Stones

A necessary ingredient when repairing wands. They are used to replenish the magic lost in a wand and also repair its material
The item to be converted is an emerald or a ruby. The ingredient is 32 soul gems but if you are using rubies 16 and the amount of tridox needed is 5

Yellow Magic Stones

A necessary ingredient when upgrading low-rank wands. They act like bonding agents when fusing a medium to a wand to raise their ranks. They're found like normal ore in any layer, but they generate in massive amounts in any magical biome

Red Magic Stones

A necessary ingredient when upgrading high-rank wands. They act like bonding agents when fusing a medium to a wand to raise their ranks. They can be found in underground rooms when mining

Raising Wand Ranks

To raise the rank of a wand, you'll have to convert it to its advanced version

Novice -> Apprentice
The ingredients are 10 quartz and 32 yellow magic stones and the amount of tridox needed is 10
Apprentice -> Advanced

Repairing Wands

This is very necessary information for your everyday mage. Wands cannot be repaired in the anvil due to the properties of these devices. These repairs must be done in the arcane workbench and it is quite easy too. To repair a wand, you will need purple magic stones. The amount required will depend on the rank of wand you have. Basic > 1, Novice > 2, Apprentice > 3, Advanced > 4, Master > 5. Just put the wand in the center of the arcane workbench and the magic stones in any other slot and they will repair any damage done to your wand

Reconfiguration Soup

A very effective soup if I must say. When eaten, this soup resets every affinity you possess. Although if you don't pick an elemental affinity again, you won't be able to use elemental spells. This soup can be crafted with a wither rose and a ghast tear
