How would you improve Rich?

It would be nice to be able to color the user input as well. There currently doesn't seem to be an option for that.

What problem does it solve for you?

It gives more control over styling. In prompt_toolkit it's possible, but I don't want to use the additional overhead.

I am new to this library and thought that I just can't find this feature, but it looks like it is missing. So +1 for colored text input.

Hey, the way I solved it was by using ANSI escape sequences.

Initially it worked partially but there was some limitation in combination with rich but in the end I got it working, so I can say it's certainly possible, but I don't have the code anymore, so unfortunately I can't give you the exact solution.

I hope this helps you towards a solution.
