Finalyze

Finalyze is a Python-based data analysis tool that analyzes financial market data and provides insights on trading strategies.

Description

Finalyze fetches historical price data from the Alpha Vantage API, analyzes the data using technical indicators, and generates trading signals based on the analysis. The tool also provides a simple candlestick chart visualization to help interpret the analysis.

Usage

To use Finalyze, you will need to obtain an API key from the Alpha Vantage website. Once you have an API key, follow these steps:

1. Clone this repository to your local machine.
2. Install the required Python packages by running pip install -r requirements.txt.
3. Create a new Python file in the root directory called config.py.
4. In config.py, define a variable ALPHA_VANTAGE_API_KEY and set it to your Alpha Vantage API key.
5. Run the analysis by executing the command python main.py.
6. The analysis results will be displayed in the console, and a candlestick chart will be opened in your web browser.

Directory Structure

• analysis: contains code for analyzing financial data, generating trading signals, and producing analysis reports.
• data: contains code for fetching and processing financial data from various sources, as well as provider-specific code.
• utils: contains code for general utility functions that may be used across the project.
• visualize: contains code for visualizing the analysis results using various charting libraries.
• main.py: serves as the entry point for the tool and runs the analysis.
• config.py: contains configuration variables, such as the Alpha Vantage API key.

Dependencies

Finalyze requires the following Python packages:

• pandas
• numpy
• matplotlib
• plotly
• alpha-vantage

These packages can be installed using pip by running pip install -r requirements.txt.
