Firerod
When hitting an entity, the firerod will ignite the entity (unless it is immune to fire, of course).
The firerod can also be used to ignite blocks, but other than a flint&steel, it can only be used on flammable blocks (wood, plants, wool, etc.).
A firerod always breaks on use.
The Firerod is crafted out of 2 sticks and 1 Coal or Charcoal:
Like most primitive weapons, the firerod is most useful in the early stage of the game. It is a relatively cheap hunter's weapon and can be used to kill and immediately cook animals.
We highly discourage using firerods in close combat with zombies!
