Pseudoscience Dataset

This repo provides the code to download the dataset used in the paper Pseudoscience Detection Using a Pre-Trained Transformer Model with Intelligent ReLabeling.

Important Information

• This repo will build the dataset by scraping the articles from the websites given below. The articles cannot be shared directly due to copyright concerns. Please make sure that you are following all applicable laws when scraping the dataset.
• Scraping the dataset may take a long time (from a few hours to a few days depending on internet speed).
• It may be possible to share the tokenized text if you wish to avoid downloading the dataset. Please contact the authors if interested.

Usage

• Run main.py to create the dataset.
