just opened in an incognito tab and could not reproduce. could you try refreshing? maybe it was a temporary downed server or something. if it does persist, would you please open the console and paste in the error shown there?

Interesting, it looks like the new content blocking linked to tracking protection in Firefox goes "this site is trying to load a million images from a google drive. I'm blocking that".

The dev console points me to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Firefox/Privacy/Tracking_Protection?utm_source=mozilla&utm_medium=firefox-console-errors&utm_campaign=default

So apparently people who care about the web enough to make their browser use tracking protection are likely unable to see the images.

:(

i thought i had a clever system where users could submit projects through a form which get dropped directly in a drive that i could serve the images from without having to manually upload each demo.

Is there any hint at a way around it? maybe there's a setting on Drive which would enable a work around, or deep link to the original image somehow to circumvent drive's image sharing link that they generated for me (which probably has tracking on it).

The only thing I can think of is proxying the images so that your site request them from someproxyyoucontrol.com/get?drive=...&file=... so that none of the tracking on google's side kicks in for the user's browser, but only for the proxy =/

As far as I can tell based on that explainer page, Google Drive is on the blacklist because it tracks by default, and there is no way to tell it not to track at all, so access to Drive that isn't already on drive.google.com gets blocked.
