Hello ,
I checked "Fear" in a few one server with mmaps and one server without mmaps.
what happen is that when someone cast fear on you (Priest , Warrior , Warlock and bosses who cast fear) you just fall underground.
and you just stuck there without option to return to your place except if gm will summon you to the place.

This bug is now affecteing some boss instances wich one of the boss ability is fear, for exemple Blood queen consile when the boss get's to the air phase, the fear drops between 3 to 6 players from the raid group down to the blood prince floor.

this also happens with polymorph near any incline, blind etc.

This also happens on random mobs both in waypoints and random movements especially if there is say a mine under the groud. So you could be inside a cave or mine and mobs from above would be dropping down through floor.

Can you pinpoint the exact place where this happens, move to those exact coordinates, target yourself, do a .pinfo and post all the results here please?
It seems to be a problem with the map height.

This bug happens everywhere if you want to test you can port to Twilight Corrupter ( http://old.wowhead.com/npc=15625 ) or any other NPC that casts fear.

Also to test mobs enter voilet hold. The mobs that spawn and come towards the guards before the event starts they go through the floor when they hit the stairs just before the guards. That happen pretty much 100% of the time.

Also did a test the other day and pulled chevrons repo compiled and re-extracted mmaps and this doesn't seem to happen on his repo. So something is missing between trinitycore mmaps and Chevrons mmaps.

@nelegalno Im not able to reproduce that, even when forcing a creature to cast a fear on me with .cast back.
@weeblex Check that you have tile and mesh data for that map in your mmaps folder, the filenames should start with the mapid, for violet hold its 608, i only have 1 tile for that map, hence the pathfinding there wont work as intended. Try using the mmaps that you extracted from Chevron with the TC branch, and report what happens.
On the overall issue, I cant reproduce it in a map with tile and mesh data.

@Subv I will try that now just to make sure though. I have .mmap files and .mmtile files in my mmaps folder are these the mesh and tile data you we're talking about?

@weeblex Yes, they are specific to each map/tile, the format is MapIdTileXTileY.mmtile

It bugs people if they are moving while they get feared, if you get feared while standing still it works fine.

Fear visual is also bugged if the target is moving when you fear him, he just looks like as if he is standing still but he is moving around, the model is just not updating.

- vmap height search in FleeingMovementGenerator and ConfusedMovementGenerator (until we can search for a nearby position properly) Should solve #7704, needs testing
- Removed some unused code in CalculatePath and TargetedMovementGenerator. Ty faramir118
- Allow players to charge through slime and lava liquids. Closes #7967

Now you see Feared player stay on position in Lag and you can fall in Blade edge arena or Dalaran sewer..
