CIS399 - Android App Development

Course materials

In this course, you will be introduced to mobile application programming concepts and mobile application development methodology using the Android Software Development Kit, Java, and Android Studio.

Example apps for the course are in my CIS399AndroidDemos repository.

Example apps from the textbook, Murach's Android Programming, 2nd Edition are included in this repository. I have updated some of these apps to work with the development tools and libraries current as of the summer of 2019. In order to use the Ch. 18 map apps, you will need to get a Google API key

A newer version of this course is in [AndroidAppDev1-Java-CourseMaterials] (https://github.com/ProfBird/AndroidAppDev1-Java-CourseMaterials)
