Well somewhere along the way we lost the V2 API documentation. That's a shame because it's one of the oldest still actively support APIs in the world of science.
However, in this PR I re-add the V2 API documentation. To keep these functions away from the others, I have added a V2 API section and put them all there.
Part of #253.
Only documentation changes in this PR - no code changes.
