How do I sign an application?

  1. Make sure you are booted into Test Mode. For information about how to boot into Test Mode, please click here.

NOTE: Step 1 only applies to Windows RT 8.1.

  1. Download the Signtool.

NOTE: You can download it here.

  1. Extract SignTool.zip. Inside the folder, there is a file named SignTool.exe.
  2. Run SignTool.exe.
  3. Choose ''Sign file'' to sign a file and ''Sign folder'' to sign all files in a folder.

If you want your application to be added to the list of applications ported to Windows RT 8.1, open a ''New issue'' here and send me the application name, the download link, the source link (optional) and potentially important information about the application.
