Introduction

University Global Games Jam 2022

Theme Sci-Fi Infinite Scroller made in Unity, going with the style of 2 D perspective with 3D world. Which means the game will have a combination of 2D artwork as well as 3D models within the world, for inspiration please take a look at "JeyPack Joy Ride Sci-fi like Artwork!" or the ideas from other side scrollers that are infinite runners like flappy bird, etc..

• Developed with " C# " Programming Language
• Built for Visual Studio
• Build with Unity Engine 2020

Installation

Cloning via Terminal:

Open your terminal and navigate to the directory where you want to clone the repository
cd /desired/directory

Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/VerzatileDev/U.RideWithJoy.git

Move into the cloned directory
cd Root_Of_the_Journey

Cloning via GitHub Desktop:

1. Open GitHub Desktop and ensure you're logged in to your GitHub account.
2. Click on the "+" button in the top left corner and select "Clone Repository".
3. In the "Clone a Repository" window, select the "URL" tab.
4. Paste the repository URL: https://github.com/VerzatileDev/U.RideWithJoy.git
5. Choose a local path for the repository.
6. Click on "Clone Repository" to complete the process.

This will clone the repository to your local machine, allowing you to work with the codebase.

Prerequisites

Project Requirements:

1. Visual studio 2023
2. Unity 2020 or Higher
3. Windows 10 or higher

Required Game installations for development (Unity Download, git, Project Page)

• git <-- Nessecary to use Github Desktop and to clone Repository from Github !

• Select Unity < 2019.4.40f1 > Download
