Node.JS DNDBot for Discord and Twitch Chat
Installing Dependencies: Node.JS https://nodejs.org/dist/v8.11.1/node-v8.11.1-x64.msi
Installing Discord.JS (For Discord Bot) Open Discord.bat to install discord dependencies or alternatively browse to your folder containing DNDBot and type "cmd" in the navigation bar. This should open up a command line window at the directory you opened it from example shown below.
ex: C:\Users%Username%\Desktop\Bots\DiscordBot-NodeJS>
from here type "npm install discord.js --save" example shown below.
ex: C:\Users%Username%\Desktop\Bots\DiscordBot-NodeJS>npm install discord.js --save
Installing TMI.JS (For Twitch Bot) Open Twitch.bat to install discord dependencies or alternatively browse to your folder containing DNDBot and type "cmd" in the navigation bar. This should open up a command line window at the directory you opened it from example shown below.
ex: C:\Users%Username%\Desktop\Bots\TwitchBot-NodeJS>
from here type "npm install tmi.js --save" example shown below.
ex: C:\Users%Username%\Desktop\Bots\DiscordBot-NodeJS>npm install tmi.js --save
now open DNDBot.bat to start up the bot and Enjoy!
