Styling

Vincenzo Stornanti edited this page Oct 9, 2020 · 3 revisions

You can change the default style of the map by editing the default CSS stylesheet (located at style/style.css) or by specifying a new stylesheet with the option --css-path.

The CSS classes used by the maps are shown below.

  • .comune: used for the background color and the boundaries of the comuni inside the province of interest.
  • .comune.interest: when choosing to highlight a particular comune, this style will be used.
  • .province: used for the background color and the external boundaries of the other provinces of the same region.
  • .region: style of the bordering regions.
  • .foreign: style of the bordering foreign countries.
  • .lake: style of the lakes.

Moreover, you can:

  • choose the color of the sea with the background-color property of the svg element;
  • control the behavior of the elements when the mouse hovers over them by the path:hover and .lakes:hover selectors.
