I have been having hassles with my emails for the past two weeks. I have signed up with Afrihost, and I have three email accounts with them: store@tasminscrochetcreations.co.za, admin@tasminscrochetcreations and design@tasminscrochetcreations.co.za. I initially had trouble adding the accounts to Outlook and had to ask my IT guy, who had initially set up my website, to change the DNS settings so that it matches my server provider. After doing that, my Outlook emails were working.
The problem is now with my website. I have selected Other SMTP and added all the necessary info. No matter what I do, I can't get my emails through Outlook. I have contacted Outlook but can't find any problems there, so I contacted my server. They told me everything, and the credentials I had put in were right on my end. I had even contacted my IT guy; as I said, he had changed things on his side with the DNS settings.
I don't know what else to do. I am in desperate need of a valid solution. I have been going in circles for 2 weeks.
Please can anyone kindly assist.
