Does anyone here have experience to package for Debian? https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1009230

Packaging for Debian would also get difftastic into downstream distributions such as Ubuntu.

Not a final solution to this issue, but I'm using Ubuntu 23.10 ( (latest at time of writing but there will be Ubuntu 24.04 in a few weeks). The snap does not work on my system. But installing with cargo worked perfectly :)
