I've documented the registerSidebar and activateSidebar methods of the edit post API, including examples.

@IreneStr, thanks for adding this documentation. Do you think we should put it also in the experimental section of the Extensibility page in docs: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/blob/master/docs/extensibility.md#extending-the-editors-ui-slot-and-fill?
