The remote

The YIO remote references to the DIY kit remote. Eventhough the YIO remote looks and feels like a big company's retail product, it's actually a DIY project based on specific hardware sometimes referenced as the development kit as we are using it for development and testing of the YIO-Software and YIO-os. Thinkers and DIY enthousiasts like us can build a remote by using their own parts and design or use the same hardware parts for the best experience. We are working on a DIY kit so we can provide most of the parts you will need to build a YIO remote yourself. Read more about the hardware and features here.

Core

The YIO remote uses a powerfull core to interact with 3rd party hubs and devices by using integrations and offer controll of all end nodes like lights uniformly through the user interface. The YIO-Software provides the UI components and handelin, while the intergration intermediates between the end node or hub and the YIO userinterface.

User interface.

The user interface is designed to be adoptable by anyone that has ever used a smartphone app. Our goal is to provide UI choices that look clean and simple while offering aa many features of the end nodes as posible.
