Installation

Windows

Get latest release from Releases page. Place it somewhere and optionally add it to the PATH.

Linux

You will have to compile the application from sources. See Compilation section for more info.

Compilation

Windows (MSVC)

You will have to get (and compile dependencies). Then just use the provided solution (.sln) file.

Both use CMake build system.

Or you can download pre-compiled versions here id3-tags-cli-win32-deps.zip and extract them to root directory (MSVC is configured to look for headers and static lib files there).

Linux (make)

Some distributions packages contains libtag1-dev which you can download and then just use make.

Otherwise, download and compile TagLib yourself and update Makefile accordingly.
