Updated on January 30, 2021: Launch of Wealth 2.

By Andrew Little

In all of the apps that I create, trust and privacy are of paramount importance. The apps are never trying to be subversive when it comes to your personal data, and are designed only for your enjoyment. This policy lays out the details of how your privacy is protected in Wealth 2.

Financial Data

In Wealth 2, we utilize iCloud®/CloudKit as the system of record for your data. Only you will be able to read the data stored in the system. We promise that your data will never be accessed or sold. In fact, we cannot access your data as it is stored in an iCloud database that is private to you.

Usage Analytics

Usage analytics are only used for the purposes of improving the functionality of Wealth 2. The app conducts limited usage tracking (e.g. session launched, device type, device language) and sends the data to Microsoft App Center. The limited usage tracking does not include any unique identifier or advertising ID so there is linking you to your usage. The usage tracking never includes any of your financial data and does not include any personally identifiable (PI) information (in fact, we don't have access to any PI by design).

Logging

The app creates a local log of actions that you can optionally send to us with your email feedback. This log sharing is completely within your control. Please know that there is no personally identifiable, or sensitive information, shared as part of the log records. These are designed only to inform what actions were taken in the app which led to an issue we're trying to diagnose. Here are examples of a few such records:

2021/03/08 01:50:52:758 more-menu | Email feedback view displayed
2021/03/08 01:51:10:607 more-menu | Legacy import view displayed
2021/03/08 01:51:15:039 legacy-import | Backup list retrieved from iCloud

Crash Data

We collect crash reports for all crashes that occur in the app. These are sent to Microsoft App Center and do not include any personally identifiable information. The crash reports are only used to diagnose the crash and fix the issue for all users of the app.

Account and Data Delete

You are able to delete all of your data, including financial, at any time. Please note that this operation cannot be undone. See the More Menu in the app for more details.

If you have any questions, please contact me personally at projectdosomething@gmail.com - Wealth 2 is part of the Little Apps family of apps. My goal is to make this policy as clear as can be.

Sincerely,

Andrew Little
