I know that there is 'IgnorePkg' option for that in pacman.conf - but i think it would be nice to have it in Octopi GUI - especially for novice users. Maybe somewhere in Repository Editor?

I could use this right now. I can't use Octopi atm because I don't want to upgrade thunderbird and, afaik, there is no way to exclude packages from an update in octopi.

It doesn't matter to me how implemented, being able deselect a package à la pamac is fine, though being able to mark a package as "frozen" would be a step up so deselecting each time would not be necessary.

I'm not sure how or if I can vote for this but I would like this also.
