500 gateway error -> crash #44

I get 500 gateway error very often. I don't know if it is my phone, or the HLR of my ISP that doesn't work properly.

Regardless, it is not ideal behavior to crash when this happen. May I suggest that it back off and try again, perhaps with increasing interval?

Or at least I assume that is what is happening as I get that quite often while browsing using the browser.

Reading usually works pretty well, but submitting posts usually crashes the client, sometimes but not always losing the message being sent.
