- Fixed a bug where dance would not change the battle background.
- Fixed mistakes in tags for certain items (in particular, items with spell procs or break effects)
- Adjusted the distribution of junction effects to be much more uniform, while preserving theming where possible.

- Altered the auto-potion junction to not trigger against "no counter" abilities.

Q: What is the Junction system?
A: I've been building a framework for pluggable patches that I call the "Junction" system. This framework makes it easy to create entirely new effects and attach them to arbitrary Espers, equipment, characters, and monsters... such as in a randomizer. I wrote over 150 new effects for the Junction patch set! There are five codes available for customizing your Junction experience:
espffect Attach random Junction effects to espers.
effectmas Attach random Junction effects to weapons, shields, and armor.
effectory Attach random Junction effects to relics.
effectster Attach random Junction effects to monsters, Rages, and some status conditions.
treaffect Enemies inherit Junction effects from held items.
espercutegf All characters gain the EspMag-J, EspCntr-J, EspAtk-J, EspDef-J, and Caller junctions.

Beyond Chaos Gaiden is a romhack-compatibile randomizer for FF6.
v6.2 makes the following changes:
- Mog and Umaro are no longer flesh-colored.
- Command changers are generated based on randomized commands instead of vanilla commands.
- Common/rare loot randomization is synchronized if they're the same originally
- Colosseum menus use the correct gradient direction.
- The opening cutscene is skipped.
- BNW specific changes:
- New textless patch by Sir Newton Fig with enable/disable toggle
- Moogle Charm is universally equippable
- Mystery Egg demoted to tier 3
