Over the past decade, I have saved over a thousand places where I have been, and I will be glad if someone finds these bookmarks useful.
I have been using maps.me app during all my travels since 2013, but after update 2.0 in December 2020, the new owner ruined the app, which became completely unusable.
Now I am using Organic Maps.
KML files can be converted to GPX to be able to import bookmarks into other free apps: Guru Maps, OsmAnd or Pocket Earth.
- Red — sightseeing;
- Orange — cafés, restaurants, fast food;
- Yellow — shops, markets, fairs;
- Green — parks, mountains, botanical gardens;
- Brown — craft beer bars or bottle shops;
- Purple — non-craft bars or pubs;
- Pink — bus and train stations or a group of particular POIs for a specific area.
