Hello there,

I noticed the issue you've posted (#7) and I'm eager to help out. It seems I've been able to reproduce and solve this problem on my end. If you'd like, I can take ownership of this issue and provide a solution.

I have used some basic concepts by defining a 'highscore' variable as zero and using basic if else command to compare the score and update the 'highscore' as required.
The preview is in the below image.
