Wider navigation scroll bar on the left sidebar

Hi,

I'm working on a laptop with 1920x1080 resolution.

Having a project splitted over many directories, I've to use the navigation scroll bar on the left sidebar.
And finding it thin darkgray bar on darkgray background is just a nightmare.

Is it possible to make it wider and also to give it a really visible color ;)

I have similar issue, would like to be able to make the sidebar taller so to speak.
There is so much space one could use in height on the sidebar but it is not possible. (unless I have missed something)

@Gascony if you look at extension manager, there are a couple of extensions that make the working panel resizable.
For example Resize Working Files
