Unexpected French language in menus

Description

Some parts of the editor are in French. Regardless of the language I have chosen (German or English).
If I want to save a file to my desktop, Brackets calls it "Bureau".
The whole "Brackets" menu (first menu from the left side alongside the Apple logo) is in French, too.
My Mac was never set to French system language or anything else except German and English.
I have already installed the newest updates of macOS and Brackets. And I have reinstalled Brackets several times, too.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch Brackets
2. Save a file or look at the options menu at the top
3. French language

Expected behavior: [What you expected to happen]
Englisch or German menus and descriptions

Actual behavior: [What actually happened]
French menus and descriptions

10.12.4, Brackets version 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9

Please include the OS and what version of the OS you're running.

Got the same problem. macOS 10.13.5 latest beta. Just copied Brackets from the dmg to the applications folder. The macOS locale is set to german. Brackets 1.12.
