@danyaPostfactum What right panel are you referring to? Can you provide a screenshot?

@danyaPostfactum, you're referring to the (vertical) toolbar, correct?

I just discovered the "Toolbar Toggle" extension (https://github.com/ruanmer/brackets-toolbar-toggle) that hides/shows the vertical toolbar (on right) whenever the project panel (on left) is hidden/shown. Hopefully, that extension helps, or at least provides enough info to create your own extension.

@danyaPostfactum Thanks a lot for your suggestion, I'd say this isn't a priority for the core team - low at most. With @redmunds hint are you ok to give it a try?

This should be default.

Edit: Now available via File > Extensions Manager! Search "Disable Toolbar" 👍

I've created a plugin that does this! I.e. disables/hides the toolbar on the right, completely independent of sidebar status. See https://github.com/rade0/brackets-disable-toolbar

Is there a shortcut to enable it again?

Nope just simply disable/remove the extension :)
